Quick Fix on Galaxy Note 4 runs slow after the update
Slow performance issue in android devices like the Galaxy Note 4 is not new and there are several things you need to consider before you can narrow down the issue and resolve it. Here are the factors you need to consider:

  • An unknown hardware problem
  • Malware in the System
  • A minor glitch in the System
  • Corrupted System cache
Since, there are several reasons to consider before you can figure it out this issue the best thing that you can do is to perform the troubleshooting procedures that we often providing to those users that had been bugged by this problem. Follow these steps:

Wipe the System Cache Partition
If the system had been updated before the issue started, there is a possibility that the files and data become obsolete or outdated and could no longer be loaded to the firmware that resulted your device to run slow. So, to eliminate this suspicion we suggest you to wipe out those stored files in the partition of your phone. This method is a simple maintenance that we often recommend to perform to those android users especially if the firmware had been upgraded. Here's how:
  1. Turn off your Galaxy Note 4.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons at the same time.
  3. When the Note 4 vibrates, release both the Home and Power buttons but continue to press and hold the Volume Up button.
  4. When the Android System Recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up button.
  5. Using the Volume Down button, highlight 'wipe cache partition' and press the Power key to select it.
  6. When the wiping of the cache partition is complete, highlight 'Reboot System now' and press the Power key to select it.
After deleting all the files and data in the partition and the issue is resolved, then, obviously corrupt ones triggered it. However, if problem continues, proceed to the next step.

Perform Reset on your Note 4
Doing a reset on your phone will bring your device back to its default settings and all your important files and data stored on your phone as well as the malware present in the system may be wiped out. Although this procedure is more hassle compared to the previous step because you have to create a backup, but the good thing is, this is very effective especially in this type of problem.
  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
  2. Launch Settings and scroll to 'User and Backup' section.
  3. Tap Backup and reset.
  4. If you want, you can tick the checkboxes next to Automatic restore and Back up my data.
  5. Tap Factory data reset.
  6. Touch Reset device.
  7. You may be asked to enter your PIN or Password.
  8. Tap Continue and then Delete All.
But if after you do the reset and your phone still run slow, then, bring your device to the tech for the battery may be defective and caused the issue.
