Quick fix on Galaxy S3 stuck in Samsung Logo

Hello readers! Welcome to another Galaxy S3 troubleshooting series that deals with S3 that stuck in the logo and unable to boot up. For several months we have been receiving some reports from the users complaining about their phone that stuck in the logo without apparent reason. The fact, that the device is able to turned on there is a possibility that this is just a just a software problem and it can be fixed without bringing it to the tech. This time, we suggest you to perform some troubleshooting procedures to rule-out this issue and resolve it if possible. Here's how:

Wipe the System Cache Partition via Recovery Mode
Since, the device stuck in Samsung logo there is a chance that corrupt files and data is causing it. Through wiping the cache partition all old files and data that the firmware are using will be deleted and newer ones will be created. Although there is no assurance that this issue could be fixed by the method but there were lots of reports from other users saying that after deleting the cache partition their phone perform normally. To wipe the cache partition, follow these steps:

  • Turn off the phone.
  • Press and hold the following three buttons; Volume Up, Home and Power buttons.
  • When the phone vibrates, let go of the Power button but continue to press and hold the Volume Up and Home buttons.
  • When the Android System recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up and Home buttons.
  • Press the Volume Down button to highlight 'wipe cache partition.'
  • Press the Power button to select and wipe the cache.
  • With 'reboot system now' highlighted, press the Power button to restart the device.
After you do so, try to power on your device and see if the issue still happening. If your S3 still stuck in Samsung logo, perform the next step.

Perform Master reset 
Remember, doing a reset on your phone will delete all your files and data. But the good thing is, this is very effective if your phone was bugged or has software-related problems. But before you have to follow the steps be sure to create a backup so that you can easily restore it if the issue still happening. 
  • Turn off the device.
  • Press and hold the following three buttons; Volume Up, Home and Power buttons at the same time. 
  • When the phone vibrates, release the Power button release the Power button but continue to press and hold the Volume Up and Home buttons.
  • When the Android system recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up and Home buttons.
  • Press the Volume Down button to highlight 'wipe data/ factory reset.'
  • Press the Power button to select it. 
  • Press the Volume Down button to highlight 'delete all user data.'
  • Press Power button to select and start the master reset. When the master reset is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.
  • Press the Power button to restart the device.
