Quick fix on Samsung Galaxy S3 could not connect to any WiFi

Hello readers! In this article, I'll discuss an issue sent to us by one of the Galaxy S3 users complaining about WiFi connectivity problem. If your phone could not connect to your WiFi but it can connect to other network in your area, then, perhaps, the router itself has an issue or defective. But if your device could not connect to any public network as well as to your own WiFi, then, there is a chance that your phone is the issue. So, in this instance, I'll walk you through in troubleshooting your phone and consider all possibilities until we can figure it out the real problem and fix it.

First Step: Restart your phone and Wi-Fi
The purpose of doing this is to refresh phone's memory as well as your wireless router to see if both devices will function normally after doing it. After rebooting on both devices try to turn on the Wi-Fi of your phone and press the Wi-Fi network and forget it. When it's done, try to connect your phone to the network and see if you successfully connected. If not, proceed to the next method.

Second Solution: Boot it in Safe Mode
If you have lots of downloaded apps before the issue started that would be one of the reasons that the issue is happening. So, through booting it in this environment we can verify if a culprit is preventing your phone from connecting to the wireless network. Here's how:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Power key.
  3. When Samsung Galaxy S3 appears on your screen, release the Power key and press and hold the Volume Down key.
  4. Continue to hold the Volume Down key until the device finishes restarting.
  5. 'Safe mode' will in the bottom left corner of the screen. Release the Volume Down key when you see 'Safe mode.'
Third Solution: Reset your phone
Assuming that safe mode failed to resolve the issue, then, the last option that you should do is to perform master reset. In other words, we have to bring back your phone to its factory default wherein all your files and data will be deleted. So, before you have to follow the steps be sure to transfer your important files and data by transferring all of it your SD card or Personal computer.
  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the following three buttons: Volume Up key, Home key and Power key.
  3. When the phone vibrates, release the Power key but continue to press and hold the Home and Volume Up keys.
  4. When the Android System Recovery screen appears, release the Volume Up key and Home key.
  5. Press and hold the Volume Down key to highlight 'wipe data/ factory reset.'
  6. Press the Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'delete all user data.'
  8. Press the Power button to select and start the master reset. When the master reset is complete, 'Reboot System Now' is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
If the issue continues after the reset, we suggest that you should bring your phone to the tech for further troubleshooting.
