Quick fix on Samsung Galaxy S3 Camera Failed error
Mostly, "Warning: Camera Failed" error is not just happening in Galaxy S3 but to other devices as well and there are number of factors that might causing this issue. But the good thing is, this is just a minor software issue and it can be fixed through simple procedures. It could be triggered by obsolete or outdated files and data or a culprit that creates conflict to the system that resulted the error message to appear on your phone's screen. So, this time, here are the steps that you should do:

Step 1:Reset your Camera App
As I've mentioned earlier, there is a chance that corrupted files and data caused the issue on your phone. So, in this instance, what we suggest you to do is reset your camera app's cache and data to eliminate the suspicion. Follow these steps:

  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. From the options, tap Settings.
  3. Tap Applications manager.
  4. Swipe twice to left to choose All tab.
  5. Scroll to and tap Camera.
  6. Tap Force Close button.
  7. Tap Clear Cache button.
  8. Tap Clear Date button.
After you do the method, try rebooting your phone and use again your camera to see if the error message still showing up. If the issue persists, jump over to the next step.

Step 2: Wipe the System Cache Partition
This procedure is similar to the first step you performed the only difference is, you will have to delete the overall files and data of your phone that is responsible for the device to run smoothly and efficiently. It will delete all files and data stored in the directory and newer ones will be generated after the device reboots. So, here's how:
  1. Turn the phone off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons at the same time until the phone vibrates.
  3. Let go of the Power button but continue to press and hold the Home and Volume Down buttons until Android System Recovery screen appears.
  4. Press the Volume Down button to choose 'wipe cache partition.'
  5. Press the Power key to select.
Step 3: Perform Factory Reset
Remember, doing a reset should be the last method that you can do if all procedures is not helping the issue. This will delete everything you stored on your phone including contacts, photos, music and videos once you follow the steps. So, before you start the reset be sure to create a backup so that you can restore easily once the error message is gone or fixed. 
  1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu button.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Tap on Accounts tab and choose Backup and Reset.
  4. Tap Factory Data Reset.
  5. Tap Reset Device.
  6. Touch Delete All.
