Read on this entire content as it elaborates the step-by-step process in setting up MMS (APN) settings on your phone.

Let's get started:

1. In order to set or configure the Access Point Name (APN) settings on your phone, you need to turn on data settings first. Here are the steps:

a. Get to the Home screen.

b. Select Apps.

c. Touch Settings.

d. Scroll down and choose More Networks under Network Connections.

e. Select Mobile Networks from the given options.

f. Touch Access Point Names (APN) to configure necessary APN settings.

g. Touch the + sign on the upper-right corner of the (APNs) screen.

h. A screen for editing APN will display. Touch Name and enter a name you prefer to use for your MMS APN. Try to use a carrier-specific name, like T-Mobile MMS for example.

i. Touch APN and type in epc.tmobile.com. (This APN is specific to the GS 5 T-mobile variants).

j. Just leave both the Username and Password fields empty or do not type anything on these fields.

k. Scroll down to select MMSC and type in http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/ on the MMSC field. Just leave both the Multimedia message proxy and Multimedia message port fields empty.

l. Scroll down and touch MMC, then enter 310.

m. Touch MNC and enter 260.

n. Now, touch Authentication type and choose APN type.

o. If prompted, enter mms (in lower case) on the entry field and touch OK to proceed. Otherwise, check MMS and then select OK to continue.

p. Touch the Menu options symbol (represented by a three-vertical-dot icon) on the upper-right corner of the screen.

q. Touch Save to save recent changes you made on your phone's MMS APN settings, and you're done.

Your Samsung Galaxy S5 has now been set and configured for use of MMS. Go back to the Home screen and try it.

Note:
If you have data coverage, try to create and send a message to test the connection.

The indicator emits three primary colors: Blue , Red and Green . The main purpose of the LED indicator is to notify you of the current condition or status of your phone. For example, you missed a notification, the phone would emit light with a pattern to tell you about it without actually unlocking the screen. Believe it or not, it makes life a little easier if you knew the meaning of the colors and their rhythms.
