Manage Air View Settings on Samsung Galaxy S5

You can use your Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone to preview information, extend text selection, or enlarge photos/images by simply hovering your finger over the screen. This is made possible with the phone's Air View function. In order to use the Air View feature, you will need to have it enabled on your device beforehand.


Following are the available Air View options to manage or configure on your device:


  • Calendar - This option will let you view more details by hovering your finger over certain events.
  • Gallery - This option will let you view pictures saved in an album by hovering your finger over the album.
  • Video Player - This option will let you preview a scene or show the elapsed time by hovering your finger over the progress bar.
  • Phone - This option will let you preview the contacts assigned or set to speed dial numbers by hovering your finger over the keypad.
These are the steps to configure Air View settings on your Samsung Galaxy S5. Refer to these method if you are not sure how to get the process done.

1. Tap on Apps from the Home screen.

2. Tap on Settings to proceed.

3. Tap on Air View to get to its menu.

4. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn the feature on or off.

Toggle the switch ON/enabled, if you want to use Air View function on your device, otherwise just leave it off/disabled.
