How To Setup Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4

The first time you turn on your Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, you are required to set it up to your preferences. During the process, you will select your language, sign in to your Google and Samsung Accounts, connect your Dropbox account, setup your preferred name for the tablet, etc. 

Now, here is the entire process of successfully setting up Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.
  1. Select your language from the drop down menu, and then touch Next to continue.
  2. Select and touch the desired network of your choice. (For this tutorial, I will use Wi-Fi.)
  3. Type in the Wi-fi password using the on-screen keyboard.
  4. Tap Connect.
  5. Set your date, time, and time zone, then touch Next.
  6. You may read the End user license agreement (EULA), check the box next to "I understand and agree to the terms and conditions above."
  7. Tap Next.
  8. You can sign in with your existing Google Account by entering your username and password. For this example, let's say you already have a Google Account, so tap Yes.
  9. Using the on-screen keyboard, type in your email address and password.
  10. Tap Done.
  11. Touch OK.
  12. You can choose to customize Google services settings. When you have chosen your options, touch the Next icon.
  13. You can set up your credit card through Google wallet. Let's not go through that process for now, so touch Not now to skip and go to the next step.
  14. Press the Next icon. (After registering your Google account, your name should be automatically recognized by the tablet.  If you have not registered your Google account, use the on-screen keyboard to type in your name manually.)
  15. Many of the feature in your device will require you to have a Samsung account. Touch Sign in to log into your existing Samsung account (assuming you already have one). Or, you can touch Create new account if you want to create a new account. For this tutorial, touch Sign in.
  16. Using the on-screen keyboard, type your email address and password, then touch Sign in.
  17. You can choose to use Backup and restore feature through your Samsung account. Choose your desire options, then touch Next.
  18. You can link your Dropbox account on your tablet. For this tutorial, touch Skip to move on to the next step.
  19. Choose a name for your device. By default the name is set to the model number. This is the name that will appear when you connect to your device through various services and features, like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct. Touch Finish.
  20. Congratulations, you have successfully setup your Samsung Galaxy Tab® Pro 8.4.
